your Lukaku polemic is not unfounded...he and his fellow Everton forwards are indeed "utter sticks". Unfortunately, so's our midfield and defence.

Everton dont beat top teams regularly in any season is not a secret. It's been going on for years. The only thing that's changed in the last 12 months is that we haven't beaten a 'peer team'...although how many of them have there been in that space between top 6 and say, 9th/10th which is probably on average where we've been in that period?

It reads as being revelatory but, in fact, is not really saying much significant.

You might get some STICK for saying that but I sort of agree with you, the team is set-up and built around him. He doesn't hold the ball up well enough for runners from midfield, waving his arms about when he loses possession instead of fighting to win back. A world class striker (which he thinks he is) creates his own chances or scores goals from nothing, he doesn't.

Barkley is doing that for himself pal. Couldn't pass the ball 5 or 6 yards on Sunday and gave away I don't know how many frees when get bullied by a smaller man.
