True fact he was a Sunderland fan until 1992 he used to help run the SAFC Hebburn branch. He had to quit and start supporting the mags once he hit 25 clem though

Perhaps a slightly controversial opinion but he has given his managers plenty backing and would never see the club to die like the Leeds, Rangers and Wimbeldons of this world. You see the likes of City, Chelsea and foreign clubs like PSG having their identity stripped, would the fans of Newcastle rather that than their current predicament with a chairman who loves the club and it's heritage? If Ashley goes they would end up like Sunderland in my opinion.
