Against Milan, they also sung that 'build a bonfire...put the scousers on the top' song, 5 secs later Rooney shoots, cue the whole ground, 'ROONEY ROONEY ROONEY'

Has he no pride about his home city and were he grew up? How does he feel when the fans who sing his name in one breath and anti-scouse in the next?

Anyway...

1) He'l never play for Everton again - that is my belief

2) I wouldn't want him back

Possibly the same as I feel about that sort of things. That some fans are very silly, but not all of them. Having said that I get the impression that if Rooney hadn't been a footballer, he'd have been that type of belter fan.
