Hey since an overwhelming amount of GOT posters are from the UK. I am curious if any of you catch yourself saying or thinking American style things. For example I went out to a hip mixology bar in NYC. The bartender was American as they get based on his hipster like clothing and the way he spoke. But as he served my friend he a drink he ended the transaction with a "cheers mate" out of the blue.

My friend thinks that was a cringe and I'm on the fence.

do you british people ever catching yourself saying things/idioms that you heard in American television/movies such as "Howdy partner!", "piece of cake" "go out there and break a leg" etc

They worm their way in without you even knowing - they're worse than Trump...and will last longer
