We don't have enough political parties in this country tbh. There is so much disparity in both parties. The people that vote for Ron Paul have as much in common with a lot of Dems as they do other Republicans. Mitt Romney's gonna win the nomination and 65% of the party can't stand him. Obama is painted as a lefty, but in a lot of areas he's been very conservative (you won't get the right wingers to admit it but it's true).
My view is the Republicans have tilted so far to the right (most American elections are won in the center) that they've painted themselves in a corner. Mitt Romney looks like (and has been) the guy who just fired your dad. Plus he's a liar. He will say whatever he has to do try and win an election. Obama has his faults, no question. But when you stack him up with the current crop of contenders, he'll win. Book it.
