It's not worth the £79 a year that it now costs, IMO.

I've been thinking about it too. Buy quite a bit off amazon like. Free 2 day shiping is very appealing as a bonus.

I want to know what the movies etc are like. I could get rid of my netflix if its alright.

I've got a free trial. Not really got an opinion on it. Most stuff tends to arrive regardless.

I have an Amazon account. Mainly for getting cheap books on the Kindle. Just got the Amazon prime video thingy ( was Lovefilm ) on the 30 day free trial. Netflix is better imo. I'll have to watch my youngest doesn't pay for a movie

It's well worth the money imo - the streaming stuff is great, and the free delivery more than pays for itself alone.

Don't have Netflix so can't compare. Amazon is probably more limited right now, but it has the potential to steamroller rival services.

I have Prime in the States. Great being able to order stuff in 2 days and watch old Star treks when there's sheet on telly.

But just let me add that's it's $79 for the year, no way I'd pay 79 quid for it if I was back home.
