So robots replace everyone in there jobs, Humans have no work, Meaning they have no money, Meaning they can't buy anything, Meaning the robots are useless

The robots don't become useless, the economy crashes.

But what are the robots making if nobody can afford to buy anything?

How do the company's that use robots make money if what they are producing won't sell as 45% of the population is not working?

Pointless putting robots into a humans job to make things cheaper if nobody can buy what your making

You're correct. Unfortunately, it's already happening. Lower skilled jobs in warehouses are being replaced by automated machines that pick items, coffee machines in petrol stations will soon spread to actual coffee shops, replacing the need for baristas. Banks are turning their branches into open areas with iPads for doing your online banking. Self driving cars are already a reality, and will soon be used to replace millions of jobs in public transport.

The problem is that humans will most likely react when it's too late. While those at the top are still sitting pretty, they won't care. By the time unemployment reaches crazy levels it will be extremely difficult, if not impossible to reverse. See global warming for a shining example of humanities refusal to sacrifice for the greater good of the population. Renewable energy could be far more widespread than it is now, but the oil companies won't allow it to happen as it will hit their profits.

If you've got ten companies who are using robots to replace their workforce, and somebody says to the CEO of one of them 'if you carry on down this path then there won't be any money to be made in the future, you should not do what your competitors are doing, carry on using humans even though it will cost you ten times as much', do you think they'll listen ?

I think your taking to much notice of a 15min you tube video mate if I'm honest

Not arsed tbh, No robot can strip clean and rebuild a landfill gas engine so I'm fine for the time being
