Not really sure what the process is from here. If she's found guilty will:

a - she be able to appeal, again?
b - USA even hand her over to go to prison?

However if found innocent I think that's the end of it, even though many will always believe she killed poor Meredith.

If someone is found guilty and new evidence comes to light that they are innocent, you'd do the trial again, so I guess it's no different if they're found innocent

It'd be a massive pisser though if you had been found innocent the first time out only to be found guilty the second time round
