Am I a jinx?

Jumping the gun a bit there mate, if we win our last 15 league games and lift the cup you'll feel daft.

We might just raise that shinIng cup skywards mate.....IF YOU DON'T GO.

Arrange to have yourself locked in the bedroom on weekends of FA Cup action.

Jinx still intact. I deliberately didn't go today to keep us in the cup. I even missed both goals as it took me 7 minutes to get the stream working. The jinx was weakened last week as I attended the Chelski game, but I'm willing to ignore that if you are. I'm ready and willing to miss the 6th round home tie with Brighton to keep the dream alive.

My jinx was well and truly ended when we lost the opener to QPR - I'd missed 6 games at Goodison since 06-07 to the start of this season.

06-07 Watford 2-1, Sheff U 2-0 (we always seem to play badly against Sheff U when I've been there)
07-08 Wigan 2-1, Brum 3-1
08-09 no games missed
09-10 Wigan 2-1
10-11 Liverpool 2-0
11-12 QPR 0-1 - then it kind of helped to miss Sheff U in the League Cup as we won!

On the other hand I've never seen us even DRAW an FA Cup match on the opponent's ground - only neutral semis & finals - games such as Man U (98th minute loser), West Ham, Sunderland, Man C & Derby - I don't need to tell you I've self banned myself from any other away FA Cup tie - haven't been to any FA Cup tie on the opponent's ground (I've been to semis & finals) since 1983. Woking in 1990 was of course played at Goodison so, nominally, I have seen us win an away cup tie before the semis but that, as you obviously know, was at our ground.
