So Álvaro Morata cost Juve €20 million when they bought him from Real Madrid. He's the player that scored in both games against Madrid and came up through there youth system. So Real have the right to buy him back for €30 million (at the very most) at the end of the 2015/16 or 2016/17 season. I find it interesting.

He came to RM as a 16 year old, not exactly a youth product they can claim...But this is their typical philosophy, sell local to fund expensive foreign players

Should have kissed the Juve badge and wound up the Real crowd.

Dennis Law has a lot to answer for

Real Madrid can buy Morata back for £22m and Man United have to pay £60-70m to get Pogba after letting him go 2 yrs ago.... Those financial geniuses eh?

Don't understand why players don't celebrate when scoring against a former club, I mean you've just put your team in the Champions League final mate - what an achievement, are you not happy?

Difference is that while Morata wasn't an actual youth product, he is a local player that wanted to remain yet wasn't wanted by the club while Pogba was far from a local kid and was indeed wanted by his club - despite not playing him...Plus, having a slimy agent like pizza boy doesn't hurt

Respect...Say what you will about Morata, like many local players they feel a bond with their club even if the feeling isn't reciprocated

It's about the supporters I think

At the end of the day, if supporters of you former club give you a nice welcome back, it seems unfair to rub a goal in their faces. That's how I'd think anyway

Now, if they booed me out the building, things might be a little different...

Mascherano, Argentine - £24 million

Ivan Rakitic, Croatian - £18 million, signed with Spanish talent Dennis Suarez going the other way

Alexis Sanchez, Chilean -£35 million

Neymar, Brazillian- £63 million

Luis Suarez, Uruguayan - £65 million

Okay mate.

If I had just scored the goal to get your team into a Champions League final against the team that had binned you off I would have made sure I rubbed it in their faces.

I hate this not celebrating against former teams.

If you get a good reception from the fans of your old club, then you can still celebrate respectfully without rubbing their faces in it - i.e. no 'badge kissing' or any of that nonsense

Okay mate.

First get your figures correct - Alexis was bought for £25 million in 2011 and sold for £35 million in 2014

No big club in the world boasts more locally formed talent through their cantera than Barcelona...Xavi, Iniesta, Bartra, Montoya, Roberto, Busquets, Alba, Masip, Piqué, Rafinha, Pedro & a certain Lionel Messi

Gives you the luxury to spend for reinforcements, mate ;)

Moreover, the point was that Barcelona typically believes, invests & promotes from within their cantera - unlike the capital club which does not

Best bit if transfer business mugging Barca to take, permanent crock Tommy Vermalen off our hands. Now all we have to do is,get Diaby to turn up for 2 games and market him as the cut price Pogba. Cheap at a tenth of the price.
