Everton seek work permit for Ever Banega after agreeing season-long loan | Football | guardian.co.uk
Who on here has/had the skinny on the facts?
The stories (Elm off) (Taylor on) (Banega on) appear in a few places so far toffeeweb main page being another.
Is Banega the latest lost soul to be brought back to life by Moyes? Will Taylor be a solid enough player to temporarily fill any CB boots until Jags is back?
Had Jags been fit would he have been out before Lescott?
If the Everton hierarchy eventually agree to sign (Via clause) to outdo the Fellaini fee, will there be a few G.O.T forum members maybe taking a backward step from their aggresive anti board anti everything stance?

One swallow doesn't make a summer. Anyway the money for eventual purchase would come from Lescott sale, so gloss taken off it.

The "aggresive anti board anti everything stance" is only in place up untill a time that the said people get the required level of signings that they feel a club of Evertons postion would warrant, furthermore, the Fellaini deal was off set by the outward direction of 2 other players from within the 1st team squad.

Currently the first team squad is about 3 players down from an already thin squad from last season.

The "aggresive anti board anti everything stance clique" just want some god damn frigging players, if we sign players, we have nothing to whine about.

I hope this answers your very wonderfully set out OP.

Any further questions I will be glad to answer.

No swallows make a winter, unless olympic archers and shootists are in thee woods. What then?

It's going to be a long cold winter. Swallowless, no olympic archers for another three years, and the woods are getting cut down to provide access for a transit system to the Kirkby stadium.

Thanks for that, the follow up goes as follows...
What level of signings is enough for ''the clique''?
What is the level of club Everton in the eyes of ''the clique''?
Did the clique value either of the two outward players that allegedly facilitated the Fellaini signing?
Which three players does the ''clique'' hold in such esteem so as to compare with the current squad by their being missing?
What or who is 'OP', to you and or ''the clique''?

"if we sign players, we have nothing to whine about." One of the best laughs I have had in a good while. I wish I could + rep you for that one.

There may not be archers, but individuals capable with firearms are welcome at the winter olympics, I hear they are to be held in Canada. As for the transit system, will it remain in place to the Kirkby site so as to facilitate a twenty first century transport link instead of relying on footfall all the way from limestreet? Thanks in advance, from a hopeful Evertonian and British olympic spectator hoping for Golds in a record amount of sports.

Any level will do, if they are good enough for Moyes, they are good enough for me.

What is the level of club Everton in the eyes of ''the clique''?

NSNO

Did the clique value either of the two outward players that allegedly facilitated the Fellaini signing?

I thought AJ was a good honest player, maybe lacking a little, but he scored some good goals and I was sorry to see him go, but it wa a cracking deal and he seemed happy to leave. McFadden was hit and miss, but he was a decent squad player, we got good money for him also.

Which three players does the ''clique'' hold in such esteem so as to compare with the current squad by their being missing?

The 3 players were merely squad fillers. Jacobsen looked decent and I thought he could have pushed Hibbert for a start, Valente was a bit injury prone and old, but he could do a job when fit and Castillo showed bits and pieces but I felt he was out of his depth.

So any up and coming or old stager would do to fill the gaps, its more in terms of numbers really.

What or who is 'OP', to you and or ''the clique''?

Opening Post, I call it.

"if we sign players, we have nothing to whine about." One of the best laughs I have had in a good while. I wish I could + rep you for that one.

I must point out these are only the views of myself, the use of the word clique in my other post was merely a token name I gave myself.

Opening Post?

There are no cliques on GOT as per thread including survey circa Feb 2009.

Then, why not quote your post and amend that instead of tacking that onto mine? And the word 'clique' :-
–noun
1. a small, exclusive group of people; coterie; set.
–verb (used without object)
2. Informal. to form, or associate in, a clique.
Have or do you often refer to yourself in a manner befitting a group, no matter how big or small?

It has not been delivered yet, postie is not due till the light hours of the morning.
As for ''cliques'', I did not bring them up. Perhaps your 'weigh in' was intended for someone else? someone more deserving?
