Now that was an awesome win.

Brilliant all over the park

I'm chuffed to pieces.

But it's too late. It was needed last week. We needed to win the cup. Not to best City. Well ideally both.

I'm not being whingy. Goodison was boss today. The players were boss today. Why weren't we boss last week?

Simple question and opinions I'm after, why this week and not last?

Fair enough, but I'm taking the view that last week is gone and we had to win today - we did. In an ideal world we'd have won both games, and should have, but we didn't and there's nothing that can rectify that.

So we ask the players to pick the ball up today and they did.

I'm not arsed about the win, tbh. I enjoyed Coleman, Gibson and Anichebe's performances. That's about it. Nothing game, nothing at stake, so Everton turn up...as expected.

It's frustrating but you can't go back in time so we have to do as well as we can in the league and we did that today, best performance of the season right after the worst.

It probably best is to forget the Wigan thing.

But it niggles.

Play as we did today we'd have smashed Wigan all over the place.

Utterly frustrating

amazing what a bit of effort and commitment can do!

shame it's the 1st time since before christmas that we have shown either and who's fault is that?
