Considering the overall decline over the last two years , I'm reasonably content with the start. When we have played well you can see what the manager is aiming for, which looks promising. The first half last night was good for instance. We just needed to capitalise on it and sustain it . I remain cautiously optimistic going forward. At least I'm enjoying going to the match again.

I understand the frustration, however I feel, overall, that we are in a far healthier position than we would have been if Martinez was still here.

Not perfect, but once they team learn that they have to put a full 90 mins in rather than 45, we'll be sound. It will take a little time to iron out some things (not that I'm blaming everything on the previous manager - some players need to look at themselves).

I'm reasonably happy at the moment, last night's second half aside.

When you look at Palace, man for man there's not a massive difference in the squads. We should be between 7th and 10th given our current squad, so results are about right.

I looked at the lineups and thought the same mate. I wasn't confident before kick off, so I'll take the point.

I'm fairly happy with the start. I think Koeman is still finding out who he rates and who has bought into his ideas. Last night's second half was poor but even that was better than some of the rubbish I witnessed last season. We are third, we've only lost one league match so far. It's OK.

Lot of work to be done. You could never completely change everything within a couple of months. Good start. Not particularly excited about this season. Maybe next

a touch less points than i thought we would have, but playing the footy for real, and not in you head thinking its a win is different, drew v teams i thought, beat ones i expected us to,and lost last week when i expected win,not to bad a start and theres no easy games when people keep saying we have had easy start, easier games are usually harder for us,and we usually turn up for big games,9 from 10 probably expect loss at city, but it Everton,so who knows.

So so. Decent start, couple of good wins, poor loss and a couple of draws. Wasn't expecting to be challenging for the league so....so so.
Vast improvement on last year though.

The transfer window has been shut for one month, he's had his 'final team' for one month, he'll come good and so will the players in time. 3rd (for the time being) in October and some heads are falling off (not really here, but some blues around you speak to). We'll do good this season lads, good times are coming!
