Dunno if they sell this in the UK as I only discovered it once I moved Germany, but this is widely considered the best lager in the world:

For cocktails, I prefer a gin and tonic. New Amsterdam is a great gin for this, fairly citrusy, mixes very well. For beer, my absolute favorite is Real Ale's Coffee Porter, absolute perfection in a bottle.

Since no one cares about me and my posts I will reply to it myself. Tought the Beer was very good! Alot better than the Norwegian and Danish beer we sell in the grocerys. I give it 8/10.

They sell it in the ship & mitre 3 for £10, I prefer the augustiner edelstoff though

For you younger chaps with taste for lager, as you get older Doctors will recommend you drink dark beer so its worth weening yourself off the amber liquid as soon as you can. For my sins, I also love Aussie Whites, which is a particularly popular fortified wine if you live in Scouse parts.
