I think Lambert switched to a front three with Weimann and Agbonlahor flanking Benteke, which severely limited his opportunities.

This sums up why Albrighton found himself unneeded at probably every prem club.

He's the old school brit winger, good pace, good feet, good at crossing, but is otherwise useless for any other role on the pitch.
