So Alan Myers is taking a break from twitter due to criticism last night regarding Everton in the Community - and the fact they've raised 1 million for local causes.

Whatever these guys do for our Club, they can never win....it not only embarrassing watching so called Everton fans ****ging the club off on twitter, in fact it's pathetic, and I have to question are they really true Everton supporters?

For me they should just do one and go and support someone else, it's getting rather boring this criticism of the Owner, certain players & the Club in general.

Criticising the board, owner and the players is fair play, it's something that happens at every club, look at Hull or Cardiff, or the kopites with Hicks and Gillett. Can't comment on the criticism of EITC as I haven't seen it, but it seems an unusual think to complain about, was it in response to the MOTD piece about it?

Alan Myers has been great since coming in to the club though.

Me too. FFS. Myers, and Everton in general have been brilliant this season PR wise. If he walked it would be a real negative.

Cant comment on twitter as I dont use it but i really cant see why anybody would find reason to critisize

I saw some idiot having a go at Alan saying the 'club was a f*cking laughing stock' because of the half time entertainment for the EITC celebration yesterday. Not sure what else was said or if many other were being critical but Alan tweeted later on saying the comments were a low blow.

It really is hard to fathom people sometimes. It's so easy to criticize, a whole lot harder to actually do anything constructive.

I thought the half time entertainment was okay for what it was.

Everton in the community however are a different subject, they do an excellent job including running the biggest sports disability centre in the world according to MotD this morning.
Couldn't possibly have been a Liverpool supporter, must have been another Chelsea supporter, the same one fromHeysel and the Hull coach incident.

I would hate for it to be one of our own!!!!!!

I'm sure the recipients of the 1 million pound raised don't see the club as a laughing stock. Good on the club , hopefully continue with the good work for a very long time.
