A mate of mine know's both Round and Irvine personally.
He tells me that Irvine is by far the better coach, FACT !!!!

*I'll get my coat*

Surprised. I like that Moyes has stepped up to help a pal, but how desperate must Irvine be to take such a back seat.

It's not really a back seat, in fact it's an incredibly important job as he's taking up the position being vacated by Ray Hall who has been key in the development of all the players we've seen come through the academy in recent years.

Obviously a good production line of young talent is incredibly important to a club like ours and I hope Irvine is up to the task of continuing the academies good work.

If the guy can't be trusted to buy properly at a lower level how can he be expected to spot gold mines at this level? Yes it is an important job, does he have any experience? Who has he brought through before?

this is our best signing so far this summer!, oh wait!!!, so glad irvine is back!! even as academy coach!!, at least he'll have the balls to say " ang on davey!!, why not try this or that?" where as round just copies moyes' moves!!
hopefully within a short period round will be chucked and irvine will become moyes' mr lover lover again!!! imwt!!(y)
