He's been described as 'having a face made for radio..' which is an admittedly cheap shot.

However, I excuse myself because he is the very definition of cheap. For example....

Loves Anfield - says so every visit. 'I defy you to name a ground with more atmosphere...'

Hates Everton. Moans about our banners and american flags. No mention of the tesco bags or the sock robber jibes (both of which I quite like...). Moans that he has to move his head to see past a post - too much work, apparently.

And he works for the BBC - supposedly he's an objective observer and reporter of the beautiful game. If he's unbiased, I'm a banana.

His sneering reporting of referee decisions with which he disagrees. No chance for the official to come back at him - he's completely safe. Absolutely loves the sound of his own voice...

Worst of all are his laughable attempts at false modesty - 'Hey! What do I know?...' you think you know everything about the game Allan. You don't.

Just go away and have your own show like that other twonk Clarkson. Then I can choose to not listen to you...

You could always spread a rumour around that he said Suarez was a racist, RS fans are pig-ignorant and Kenny is a snide etc. Let's see how he responds to bullets in the post.

what is it with RS supporters that are so biased. It is only them, you see people like le tissier, merson, lineker etc. they have affection for their old teams but they're never overly biased, but yet you have lawrenson, hansen, green, thompson and they cannot say a good word about anyone else without gritting their teeth, they're a disgrace and i don't see how their employers don't recognise this. Last year after the Championship play off final green spends about 3 times as much talking about how they didn't play the national anthem instead of talking about a cracking game, the radio program was called 'sports' phone in, i don't make too many efforts to try and listen to green's garbage, a serious tit
