Is he currently with Everton though? Like, on loan or something? I'm sure I've seen his name banded around in the squad somewhere (probably FM11)

His contract ends in December of this year.. Maybe a small small chance for us?

Chelsea supposedly already have first option on him. Something to do with a Russian fella already at Stamford Bridge.

I watched him twice last season and he's a class above, already got over 150 appearances for CSKA. Not even in our wildest dreams would we be able to afford him, and he most certainly wouldn't come to a team not in a European competition - he's Champions League standard, no question. One of my top tips for the future!

Dzagoev is considered a huge star in Russia. There is no way we could afford the transfer fee, wages and there is no way he would go to a team outside the Real Madrid, Barcelona, Man City, Chelsea, Man Utd etc group.

The only thing why I bumped this thread up is that he is really likely going to be a free agent really soon..

Looks good playing in that Russia side, but then so does Arshavin having been gash for Arsenal for ages up until he left.

There's a stigma attached to Russian-based players tbh and rightly so. Very few make the grade in the Prem, as we've witnessed first hand. That said, still, he's good like.
