Ajax last team to join NextGen

Why aren't we part of this? Or should we even be?

Ajax have been named as the 16th and final team that will compete in the inaugural NextGen Series - an elite international competition for Europe's finest young talent.

Manchester City, Liverpool, Tottenham, Celtic and Aston Villa will all field teams in the competition, which has been formed to allow Europe's best young talent to hone their skills in a highly competitive environment.

Dont care. Any competition that values Tottenhams, Liverpools, Citys and Villas youth teams above ours isn't worth taking seriously...

Would seem a better training ground for them than the joke that is the English reserve/youth competitions.

Awesome, competitive games at a younger age against technically superior opposition. Just the kick in the confidence balloons our English youth sides require.
