Everton striker Andy Johnson was the weekends fastest player in the Premier League, according to sports data experts OPTA.

During Evertons 2-0 victory over Manchester City, Johnson recorded incredible speeds of up to 20.8mph, and an even more impressive 20.9mph when in possession of the ball.

maybe he is running so fast the speed of light cant catch up. which explains why referees simply cannot and do not see the many fouls on Johnson, especially when in the penalty box.
 
he's about 2 mph short of being the world's fastest man, if he'd devoted his whole career to running he probably would have been a gold medalist, i for one am glad that he didn't.
