Bluerover

Player Valuation: £60m
Well tonight sees Rovers v St Pat's in the President's Cup (similar to the Charity Shield - League winners v Cup Winners).

The league itself starts next week. Hopefully Rovers maintain their form although I think it will be much tighter this season.

Come on the Pats
My late Mam was born and reared in Connolly Avenue. My Dad's grandfather was a butcher on Emmet Road and what is now Richmond Park was his lairage for animals before slaughter. So I have an affinity for Pat's and was delighted with the Cup win.

I grew up supporting Rovers as they were closest to where I lived and when we were playing away to Pat's, Dad would say youse are playing in my auntie's field

Best wishes for the season. A proper club with sound supporter's.

Pulsating first half. Rovers half asleep. Pat's should be two up. We seemed to wake up a bit near the end. Great to see an almost full stadium for what in the 80s was regarded as a bit of a non event.

If anyone is interested then we battered Shels 1 1 in TX last night, bar about 20 min total we were well in control. Based on what I saw last night, Shels will be poor and the Duff experiment is bound to fail

A bit bleary eyed this morning. That is one we stole. Pat's should have been out of sight.

It should be a fascinating league this year.
Believe Rovers were poor that Pats should have won? Always back Alan Mannus in a peno shoot out.
