Air Fryers

Was against getting one for a long time thinking it was just some sort of deep fat fryer but we use ours loads, it’s really just a small fan assisted oven. Really useful if you just want to do a few jacket spuds or the like and don’t want to heat up the whole oven.

What about fried chicken etc is there any odour .I was worried that it would be just another gadget that got stuck in the cupboard after a couple of meals.

Not tried fried chicken I’d imagine it would just stick to the basket as the one we’ve got is more of an oven than a deep fat frier. Frozen stuff like chips cook really well and it’s handy if you’re a bit short of space or if like me you have to cook a couple of different meals at the same time.

Used one for the first time over the weekend for frozen chips. Pleasantly surprised by the outcome. Chips were lovely, crisp outside and fluffy inside. Exactly how a chip should be.

Any smell from it Tommy. We live in an open plan apartment,so kitchen is pretty much part of the lounge.I can't exactly close a kitchen door to keep any odour from getting into the furniture .

Haha haha

True story Bry. Forever getting back to my hotel room in the states, sticking some random film on and waking up in the morning with an overwhelming urge to purchase something from an ”as seen on tv“ advert that’s been on all night.

At home I’ve got a miracle golf club and a chefs knife that’s claim to fame is that it can cut thru a tin can!

Why? I own a can opener ffs.

Anyone own one ?If so can you give me some opinion Don't want a deep fat fryer stinking the house out.Cheers.

I had a Phillips one few years back but it was a pain to clean. It was the only thing the misses didn't want custody of when we split up

Yes, they're really good. Smell isnt bad, stick to the Actifry though.
