Anyone going next week? Any early tips?

I'm going on the thursday, I'm sure last year there was a half decent band on after the races, have any performers been announced for this year?

Katgary if it runs in the race after the national.
Calipto in the opening race on Thursday.

Both incredibly unlucky at Cheltenham and can win here.

Also look out for Balder Succes who missed Cheltenham to come here and will go very close in whatever race he's in.

As for the national I have done Rocky Creek and Long Run.

If you call The Saturdays half decent then yeah, they were there.

I go every year on the Thursday but I'm missing this year. Utterly skint and would rather save the money I'd burn on not winning to go out on the Friday.

Saturday Is better than Friday I recon especially if you can wangle into someones box were free drinks are par for the course otherwise its an expensive day and the queues are a bit ridiculous never the less still an enjoyable day out even better if you get a win or two.

I'm going on Friday, would rather go on Thursday but have not got the holidays to book 2 days off.

Might wear shades to protect my eyes from the orange ladies.

bets placed

can't believe there's a horse at odds of 1.36 in one of the races and the next best is then 11/1. Its a massive field as well.
