There's was all sorts of raging on it in the Steam forums when it was first released...probably why it was dirt cheap the other day.

Well I bought it a year ago, didnt work at all, thought I would try it since ive got a new GFX card and it worked!!!

Don't get me wrong Civ 5 is good but AOE is the best game ever made.

Don't get me wrong Civ 5 is good but AOE is the best game ever made.

Both great games, I just haven't seen too many revamps of older games go too well...which sucks. I'd buy quite a few classics if they were retooled for widescreen/HD support without a bunch of third-party hacks.
