Bare with me …. Just binge watched series 3 of this, now I’m not a huge fan of Gervais normally but this series is one of the best things I’ve watched over the last couple of years and series 3 hasn’t been a let down either… honestly, if you’ve not watched this please give it a go … in my opinion it’s brilliant.

Just watched all of series 3 tonight .. laughed loads … but there was also a lot of dust in the room tonight making my eyes water at times … bloody allergies

It somehow manages to balance on that fine line between comedy and heartbreaking emotional pain. You just want to reach out and help those flawed characters and I suppose by feeling that way it might make people take notice more of others in real life? Of course it will hardly ever be that obvious but it makes you want to be better friend/partner or whatever I think.

I'm not sure if Gervais set out to do that but anything that stirs the emotions and makes you take stock whilst providing laugh out loud moments can't be bad.
