We are set to lose Gueye and Bolasie for an extended period when the African cup of nations starts. With this in mind I'm hoping due to the debacle of the last transfer window we do our new year shopping early as the tournament starts on the 14th so they will probably be called up a week or 2 beforehand.

Time they moved it to every 4yrs. inline with all the big Competitions...same time as the Euro's would be good.
 

I'm sure Koeman will have a plan, we will still have Deulofeu and Mirallas to operate wide and the likes of McCarthy and Davies to play central.
 
...I'm sure RK and SW have an eye on this, we ain't too bad in the DM area and they will be monitoring Davies and Liam Walsh. Saying that, it's clear from Friday's interview that RK was very keen on bringing Sissoko in so he might be looking to strengthen in that position regardless of African Nations.
