i can’t see both Salah and Mane going

You may be right

if they are called up and don't go, they will be banned for premiership matches for the duration won't they?

You're morally correct

They should be but you know Special Dispensation FC will get away with it

This is sadly what will happen

If Iwobi refuses to go though expect us to be fined a seven figure sum on mere principal alone whether he plays or not

Talksport have a list of players expected to go to AFCON and Everton don’t do too badly from it. I’m not sure if Gbamin will go because of his lack of playing time but playing a few games might be good for him. Liverpool, Arsenal possibly hit the hardest by it and Chelsea losing their GK.

Arsenal: Thomas Partey (Ghana), Mohamed Elneny (Egypt), Pierre Emerick Aubameyang (Gabon), Nicolas Pepe (Ivory Coast)

Aston Villa: Mahmoud Trezeguet (Egypt), Bertrand Traore (Burkina Faso), Marvelous Nakamba (Zimbabwe)

Brentford: Julian Jeanvier (Guinea), Frank Onyeka (Nigeria), Tariqe Fosu-Henry (Ghana),

Brighton: Yves Bissouma (Mali)

Burnley: Maxwel Cornet (Ivory Coast)

Chelsea: Edouard Mendy (Senegal), Hakim Ziyech (Morocco)

Crystal Palace: Cheikhou Kouyate (Senegal), Jeffrey Schlupp (Ghana), Jordan Ayew (Ghana), Wilfried Zaha (Ivory Coast)

Everton: Jean-Philippe Gbamin (Ivory Coast), Alex Iwobi (Nigeria)

Leeds United: None

Leicester City: Daniel Amartey (Ghana), Nampalys Mendy (Senegal), Wilfred Ndidi (Nigeria), Kelechi Iheanacho (Nigeria)

Liverpool: Mohamed Salah (Egypt), Naby Keita (Guinea), Sadio Mane (Senegal)

Manchester City: Riyad Mahrez (Algeria)

Manchester United: Eric Bailly (Ivory Coast), Amad Diallo (Ivory Coast)

Newcastle United: None

Norwich City: None

Southampton: Moussa Djenepo (Mali), Mohammed Salisu (Ghana),

Tottenham Hotspur: None

Watford: Peter Etebo (Nigeria), William Troost-Ekong (Nigeria), Adam Masina (Morocco), Ismaila Sarr (Senegal), Emmanuel Dennis (Nigeria)

West Ham: None

Wolves: Romain Saiss (Morocco)
Not hit badly by it. It'll improve us no end.

I think you may find the Premiership clubs try and push a case that the players shouldn’t travel due to Covid. Despite playing major tournaments during the height of it.

Difficult to get away with that one when most travel here and there for champions League matches.

Completely agree but they will try and suggest Cameroon hasn’t got the correct infrastructure to keep players safe. It will be bolstered by bias towards African nations and their perceived state of ‘development’ despite Cameroon having better Covid stats than pretty much any country in Europe.
