Namdrater

Player Valuation: £15m
How long do the players go away for? Its going to be tough to be at our best without Yakubu and Pienaar - the flicks and tricks come a lot from their part and put us into good scoring positions. :(

Let's say they make it to the final then it could be just after February 10 before they would be coming back again, but all depend how they do in the knock out stage I suppose!

South Africa is [Poor language removed], unfortunately, they'll be out before the knockout stages. Which will bring Pienaar back

Well, in that case we did expect Pienaar to be back by the end of January then, tournament start on the 20th January and I believe it should be knock out stage after 10 days or so?

Anyone know the format of the tournament?

Cheers! (y)

Guess I should not be lazy and go search it on wikipedia!:P

South Africa's last group game will be on Jan. 31 which will be their last since Senegal and Tunisia are favorites to go through in that group. Nigeria however will go much farther (Yakubu + Yobo). They will advance with Ivory Coast and will most likely face Morocco which they'll overcome. They'll probably lose to Senegal in the semi-finals.

I feel the same way on this one South Africa's is in a tough group and we don't expect them to go through and as for Nigeria can't see them not finish in the Top 2 in a easy group!
