Hello Evertonians!
Not sure is my topic on the right place or should it be in the Ale House, so exuse me.
I am coming over to Everton for the first time in my life. I am 33 and support the club for about 25 years but this will be my first games. I am expecting to visit three away games, Stevenage, ****e and Spurs and two home games, Villa and Palace.
So please help with some advices if you can.

1). I am a huge programmer collector, have many Everton programmes, so is there some programmer shop near the Goodison where people can buy old programmes?

2). Which pub would you recommend for a new one near the Goodison before ****e away game and before the home games? also which pubs in the city centre are good for ale and not so expensive? Also is there are places in the centre for a nice food (British, italian or Indian)?

3). I am expecting to visit Beatles places, including a show in the Cavern but what else will you recommend to visit during my stay in Liverpool?

4). Is there any pubs in Stevenage and Tottenham to visit before the games and have a drink with Evertonians?

5). I will be more then happy if some local Evertonians will have a beer with me before or after a games, cause it is not so enjoyable to be alone for such an historic occasion for me.

Exuse me once more if I posted this in the wrong place.
And thank you for those who will give a few advices.

Hi Russian Evertonian, I am sure there will be some genuinely helpful responses in this thread but you should probably google the above advice (the Lisbon) before deciding whether or not to go there.

Have a great trip, will be a fantastic experience to see the Blues for the first time.

I tend to go the brick for my pre-match pint. Good atmosphere
Not sure about buying old programmes as I dont do it myself, I'd guess getting them online is just as easy

Hi mate.

1. Yes you can get a programme near the ground!

2. the Brick on county road will be bouncing with blues and you'll meet loads of lads from here

3. The Walker Art gallery, the museum and central library, just a few. Obviously Goodson too try and get a stadium tour sorted.

Email Alan Myers ( Alan.myers@evertonfc.com ) he will make sure it's a good visit

All here - http://www.liverpoolmuseums.org.uk/walker/

4. No idea on this one, check the match thread closer to the time and people will " designate " a blues pub!

5. Count me in, I'll be at the Brick hopefully, others too.

I'll try and help bud.

1) I'm not sure, i haven't seen anything around the ground but in all honesty I don't really look for this sort of stuff
2) County Road by the ground as numerous boozers, you can't miss them. Its what you feel comfy in, everyone one on here will have there favourite. With regards to City Centre, well this is very open. Personally i'd stay towards Matthew Street, theres plenty of boozers there and the price ranges; you won't find anything thats dirt cheap. Not far from Matthew Street is a nice Italian called Casa Italia on Stanley Street.
3) There is plenty, the 2 museums are ace, plenty of site seeing, the Ferry. Have a look at the http://www.visitliverpool.com/things-to-do hopefully it'll give you an idea.
4) I haven't got a clue, sorry pal
5) I'm sure somebody will offer to meet you for a pint

Enjoy your stay
