My girlfriend has recently been made redundant, Xmas Eve to be precise. So anyway she recieved a letter from the company detailing what notice and redundancy she would recieve. Then the company went bust, she she recieved a form to make a claim for her redundancy from the Goverment.

Has anybody else been thru this process? How long does it take? Do you get everything that you were owed?

If i remember rightly,the government only compensate a percentage of what's due, though for your sake,i hope i'm wrong.

They have a wage limit which they will pay, she was on less than this limit.

Oh well, she should be alright then.

I knew someone a while ago who was in a similar position and only received a % , but obviously their circumstances were different.
