Can I get a bit of help please blues...

I've managed to persuade my missus that it would be good to come to Liverpool for our anniversary tomorrow... first stop The Wilmslow at 2pm then GP at 3pm...

However after that I better treat her to somewhere nice... I've tried Gusto on the Docks but it's fully booked..

Any 'serious' recommendations for a top notch eatery for the evening with a few bars and pubs around would be decent too?

Cheers

CAU Steakhouse?? Anyone been?

Very good meat, pretty Pricey for what is essentially a steakhouse though.

Meet as previously mentioned does very good steaks at better value but might not be the vibe you're after if it's you and the wife.

You could probably get an early table at panoramic for the same price as Cau

Vincent (exchange flags) does decent sushi amongst other things and should have a good atmosphere tomorrow.

Down the other end Pushka is good but will probably be booked up, neon jamon is pretty good on berry street, Carriageworks, 60 Hope street, The Art school & to a lesser extent the old blind school are all decent so check them out.

All depends on where you are staying and where you can get a table.
