Think I've found used car for missus - price, spec all good but worried about getting shafted by some slick Swiss Tony. Anyone got advice/experience on what to ask/look out for?
Cheers

Try avoid car dealers who don't answer the phone or whose voicemails are full.

If you see anyone coming back to complain about a car they have bought whilst your browsing walk away.

The used car market is such that you would be better off getting one from auction yourself or buying privately.

Do a history check as a bare minimum. You don't want to unknowingly buy a car which has previously been in a bad accident or written off.

When I was looking for a car 9 times out of 10 the seller was hiding something. Maybe that's just Southern scammers though.

Always check for common issues on the car type mate. Again somewhere I've fallen down on! Actually looks like Jazz' are pretty reliable.

Also check the car doesn't have finance on it. I beleive this is easy to do online and there's apps for it now too.

(Found it very hard to resist animals jumping on the link there)
