I am considering binning my old CRT monitor and getting an LCD one. Which will take up a hell of a less psace.
What should I look for in the specs and can anyone recommend a monitor.

Ive got this, bought it about 1-2 months ago. But I only paid £129, so dunno why its that price now.

LG W2254TQ 22" PC Monitor - Tesco.Direct

Depends what you want it for.

And of course what size and how much you want to pay.

Viewsonic VX2260wm 22" Widescreen LCD Monitor [VX2260WM] 22" LCD 22"

Samsung P2050 20" Widescreen LCD Monitor [LS20LRZKUV/EN] 20" LCD 20"

Dell Ultrasharp 3008WFP 30" Widescreen LCD Monitor [3008WFP] 26" - 30" LCD 30"

Just find a model you like the look off, then google it and you might find it cheaper.

Thanks guys but apart from size, I was wondering if or what I should be looking for in terms of resolution and if anyone had ideas.

Reidy made a good point, should I look at an LCD TV but I think their resolution is limited.

As big of a resolution as possible :)

Typically, with HDTV's out there now, monitors also conform to these resolutions , so ideally you would want to get one that pushes 1920x1080 (that is a 1.78:1 aspect ratio which allows you to watch 2.35:1 ratio shows/movies too).
