Hi all,

I've been working oversees and not been to the ground for 5 years. I'm bringing my two boys to the match on New Years Day. Any advice on parking and if its best to do park and ride from the centre to the ground? All advice welcome - coming in from Sheffield. Thanks.

Les.

I’d park in the Vernon Sangster Car Park on Stanley Park mate, off Priory Road and near The Pit. I think it’s £8, well it was last time I went past.

Bit hit and miss with parking permits around the ground.

...I think I paid £10 recently but it’s near enough and ok to get away from.

I suppose it depends if you're heading back to town after the match. Lots of places near the ground to park.

walton hall park at the east lancs road side, 15ish minute walk to the ground, think it's £7, you'll miss the traffic and get onto the motorway easier after the game.

Cherry Lane (small industrial estate) just off Walton Road near the Taxi Club.. 5-10 min walk from the ground. Enjoy the game
