apologies if this is posted elsewhere....seems we may come into a bit of money due to our 40% sell on clause for Forshaw....not sure what the amount would be tho

"It would appear that Latics attempts to sign Brentford midfield man Adam Forshaw are drawing a step closer with mounting speculation that the 22 year old could be a Wigan Athletic player in the next day or so.
Brentford boss Mark Warburton for once hasn't commented on the situation lending credence to the rumours circulating on social media that a deal could be nearing completion.
The 22 year old is an excellent prospect and would be a welcome addition to the Latics squad, having had two bids turned down last week it would appear that the Latics determination to land the former Everton player has forced another increased offer onto the table.
The major stumbling block of the deal looks to be the 40% sell on clause that Brentford must send Everton's way, there'll still be a little more to run on this story before its conclusion I'm sure, but if those rumours are to be believed there is an end in sight.

Good for us, but good for him that he's progressing in the game. One of the many that was blooded in that Bate game. Good to hear he's forging a decent career for himself.

Always nice to hear that former youngsters here are having success in their careers. Don't see us getting a lot of money in this transfer though.

One of the best players in League One last year. Wouldn't be surprised if he fought his way up into the prem and had a solid career there.

Should be a nice little pay day, theyve already turned down a 2 mil bid, so we might see a million out of it

He's a really good little player, Moyes let him go far too prematurely after he was the ressies player of the year.

Also see:
Ruddy, J
Mustafi, S

I didn't rate Ruddy, and still don't.

Forshaw looks like he could make a decent premier league player in the future. So Good luck to him, and the others like Bidwell, Agard, Wallace and co. there are a lot of ex blues, lower down the pyramid, and i'd hope they all do well, even Baxter.
