It's a way to take one,but if the keeper guesses right it's a pretty straightforward save. If you put your foot through it even if the keeper makes the save he's not likely to hold it so you've got the chance of the rebound.

But he waits for the keeper to move. If the keeper doesn't move he would hit it harder and more in the corner.
