Hi guys,

How can I keep in touch with the younger categories U14-U15-U16 ? I don't find anything on the web about fixtures for these teams.

Cheers

You'll really struggle for these.

The parents themselves get a provisional list at the start of the season but they constantly change.

The club is quite restrictive of the information I believe, as they want to keep the kids out of the spotlight for as long as possible.
The 16s last year steamrolled everybody, yet we heard very little about it.

I'm a coach of an U14 team I just want to know more about youth teams in the Everton FC's Academy. When I was looking for the fixtures, I couldn't find anything about U14-U15-U16.

But thanks for your replies !

My son plays for a premiership academy admittedly a bit younger but we don't find out the fixtures most weeks until the Wednesday before the weekend however they usually have u9s, u11s & u13s away against the same team and the u10s, u12s, u14s home against the same team so if we don't now, I expect the older ones won't know either.

We do get a provisional list at the start of the season but it's not worth the paper it's written on.

I reckon 10-20% of them get played, as at the moment they are all still classed as friendlies even at 12, 13, 14 unlike your grassroots football.

In all honesty mate it's an issue of safeguarding. Those games would not be available to the public and understandably the club are very cautious about this as they are in locus parentis while the players are in their care.

They don't play in any competitive league as such and certainly at Everton there is very little emphasis laced upon winning, it is all about development.
