Who does GOT consider the bigger club ? they share the same stadium, have near identicle attendances and have the same amount of titles so are far more evenly matched than we are with Liverpool.

Personally, I've always considered AC Milan the bigger club but I think that's purely down to the 90s. A couple of guys in their early-mid 20's at work think Inter are the bigger club.

What say you GOT ?

The one that doesn't get mad if you say the name of the city they're based in that is actually in their full name when referring to them

Im probably being a bit thick here but you've completely lost me
Apparently Italian Inter fans get peeved that they're called "Inter Milan" because Milan is AC Milan and they're Inter or some mess like that. But the name of the club is literally Internazionale Milano so it's kind of small time imo.

Both big sides, but historically AC are the biggest team.

More Titles, European Cups, overall trophies, attendances (just).

I find Inter have runs of 4-5 years where they totally dominate, whereas Milan have been more consistent.

They have equal titles but yeh Milan have more trophies overall.

Didn't Inter inherit a bunch of titles from Juve cheating or something ?

AC for me. More trophies and more mega stars.
Inter have had some unreal players but off the top of my head they aren’t competing with Maldini, Kaka, Ronaldinho, Pirlo, Van Basten, Shevchenko, Gullit, Nesta, Baresi, Inzaghi - probably forgot some too!

They did have a more lethal version of Brazilian Ronaldo though

AC Milan use the English spelling because they were formed by an English man. Inter used the Italian spelling because they were primarily formed by an Italian.

They get peeved because it's part of their heritage, which I get. Only in English-speaking countries do they use Milan; in Italy, it's Miano although rarely used.

Similar to why they dislike their stadium being called the San Siro as it's the Giuseppe Meazza. History and heritage mean a lot to most fans.

Anyway, I've always liked Inter due to the blue.

It’s sad how poor AC Milan have been pretty much since Ancelotti left and that team of Pirlo Kaka Gattuso Shevchenko disbanded.

They’ve had a few teams since of Brazilian stars at the end of their careers, mixed with Zlatan rolling back the years, but they’ve had pretty much 15 years of just not being a major player in Europe.

I mean I’d be annoyed since it’s only non-Italian counties that call them that. Milano is in their name but they don’t use it themselves.

A lot of it is money. Italy isn't economically well off enough to compete to start and then you toss in a handful of oil states running teams.
