I wish they were called Anfield FC or something. They tarnish the city's name to say the least.

Back in 1892 when we registered as a plc, we should have called ourselves Everton North End. At least that way we'd have stopped them from being able to claim the whole of the city for themselves.

Have you ever considered writing your own history of Everton dave? That way you could go back and correct all the mistakes that have been made at the club over the years and create a pristine version of events whose flaws were so cleverly argued no one would notice that it was wildly inaccurate. You'd only need a single copy, just so that whenever you were feeling a bit unsure about the future you could have a quick glance at it and restore your quiet contentment.
