There's actually quotes for this one, not just some "ITK" twerp:

"It is at the stage of rumours at the moment, I heard of interest from Newcastle a long time ago, the Everton one has been in the papers," said Barrada.

"I am a Getafe player and happy to be here, if I am wanted by a club, they know what they have to do.

"Newcastle is an exciting team in a very big league, so is Everton, so to join one of them will be great.

"They have great tradition and are appealing to any player who wants to test himself against the best players."

The lad is quite good but another central midfielder!. If were going to go for midfielders then why not a replacement for Cahill or a right winger?.

Ive got a feeling were going to be willing to sell Heitinga as he's one we could probs do without in Moyesies eyes and we could get a decent fee for him. Moyes may be willing to sell so he can have money to spend and strengthen the squad without selling the likes of a Baines to do so.

Rule 101 when it comes to Everton signing a player: If he touts himself to journos about joining Everton, we won't be signing him.

His club will want a transfer fee... so unless we sell(and we can't even do that this summer), we're out.
