Did anyone else watch these? Absolutely superb - the first one was last year and decent in its own right, but Touch of Cloth 2 is the best thing I've watched since Airplane! itself, which it borrows heavily from.

Favourite joke in the whole thing:

Bank Robber: "You can tell your grandchildren about this!"

Hostage: "But... I'm gay."

Bank Robber: "Well... you can turn it into a musical then."

:lol:

Should be getting more credit than it does IMO.

Yeah saw the first series and saw the first of the second series the other day, great programme although I don't think the first of this series was as good as the last. The crazy scene of crime investigator was probably my favourite character last series but she only made a brief appearance in the first episode of the new series.

It's little things for me that make it better - like a picture of Carlos the Jackal on the suspect wall, "UNMARKED CAR" written on the side of an unmarked car etc.

Just super.

Brilliant comedy. It's so intense I had to take breaks; the jokes are just relentless.

I love Brooker.

It really is a superb show, some excellent quotes, if you like Airplane, Naked Gun and Hot Shots, you'll adore this. It has layers and layers of comedy so you can watch it 3/4 times and find it funny. Some great quotes from the first series;

Cloth: 'Laugh, me? I never laugh. I haven't laughed since my wife died.'

DC AO: "Why did you laugh when you're wife died?"

Also, the list on the hospital sign in the first series was great too, if you pause it you can see it says "Pause Button OCD"
