Bin the Europa and replace it with the CWC. Champions in the champions league, cup winners in the CWC. Split the prize money equally between the teams in the league that they represent. This would stop this ridiculous situation we find now where the German and Italian leagues are one team leagues, Spain is two, France has had a blip but is mainly one, Greece is one, Scotland is one. People complain about City and Chelsea buying everything but thank god they did as it was the only thing stopping us from becoming the same with United or United and Arsenal sharing the title every year.

Playing in Europe should give you a trophy opportunity and the prestige of playing the best on the continent. It should also however make it a little harder to defend the trophy you won keeping the leagues competitive. Now the cash bloating is so great however that the teams who caught the boat got so much money year on year that they started buying their own domestic rivals players.

If they get a few years of the 'top 6' all finishing 1-6 without any disruption they'll soon push for 6 places anyway. There's only so long that officials st these clubs, the prem, and UEFA will put up with the likes of United Arsenal or Liverpool not being guaranteed CL every season.

But what happens if an underdog win's the FA Cup? Like a Wigan, Wimbledon or Coventry City. Would you really want them representing us in the CL. I certainly wouldn't. It would be a complete waste of a space and would damage the countries coefficients as well. I'm not so sure anyone would be happy if Everton finished 4th one year, only for their place to be taken by a team like that either.

I would certainly like to see the CWC make a comeback though. They should never have got rid of it in the first place imo.

So hyperthetically a championship club have the run of their lifetime, win the FA cup and the exposure and financial rewards for then getting into the champions league then allows them to transform their club off the pitch allowing them to invest in facilities and improve the first 11?

You see a problem with that? So what if it isn't the best team in england qualifying, players get to play top teams and could have a good go at it and potentially get out of their group as well. No different to a 'top team' embarrassing themselves like the kopites did last time out.
