Evertonized

Player Valuation: £1m
I logged on today expecting to see the usual WERE DOOMED threads, so I'd thought I'd just quickly post something.

I don't know why ANYONE expected us to beat Blackburn today? When do Everton ever, easily beat the bottom teams at home? We either make it a massive struggle, or get beaten.

I have no idea why, but when we're against crap teams, Everton are just not motivated to win whatsoever.

Is it Moyes? The players? The stadium? I don't know...

So i suppose we should just accept that we're s**t ? No.

It's Moyes and his staff, and lacking Osman. The fact we are crap against poorer sides is a huge problem for us since we can only hope for one or two points against better sides this year. We are all going to die!

We have a good manager who has had his best players sold.

It's not rocket science.

Cahill
Saha
Neville and Heitinga in midfield over Barkley.
Everybody back for a corner.
Get it to Baines.
What's a plan B ?
Leaving two subs until the 80th minute.

/Moyes

I agree mate, still think he is a good manager.

I just thought he is so stuck in the ways of the past he is relying on what he knows.

Surely a good manager should see that something is clearly not working and know when to drop players who are clearly not performing ? Those are the basics of management, you use what you have in the best way possible, you don't just stick with a tactic which is quite obviously broken. Having one tactic which worked a few years ago and sticking with it doesn't make you a good manager in my book.

He's also incredibly stubborn and loves to ruin strikers, on top of that.

Hes a stubborn, cautious manager who plays percentages.

i put in the other thread that weve let fewer shots against us than anyone in the league...so that says we stiffle teams.

Weve only kept 4 clean sheets...so that says its not totally working if we cant stop teams scoring.

But if the opposition only scores 1 it means youre still in it...but when your the 4th worst in the league for goals scored it never works out

Were mid table at best under Moyes

Think we'd be a lot worse without. This is hardly a vintage Everton squad.

At least I saw 4-5 attackers near the box at several points in the match. I think the shape has looked better with Donovan, Gibson and now Fellaini back.
