A Question Of Sport

I watched the last episode and it will be the last episode I watch. The wee blond guy from the Chelsea programme who is the heir to some biscuit company was the most knowledgeable panel member on sport and the game was decided on two nonentities wheeling plastic toys across a target. Riveting stuff it isn’t.

I remember when Tuffers used to always come out from behind the desk to turn his head upside down to view the sports photo taken from a weird angle.

That used to get me every time haha. Like every single week haha. Without fail ha.

Classic haha.

Tuffers.

Bring back Quiz Ball! Route One!
That's a blast from the past. lol Completely forgot about it. For those who don't remember it here's the gist, Kenneth Cope and Harry Catterick played for us !

The only episode I could find :

It was always terrible, my childhood is scarred from memories of sitting in my grandparents being unable to play Mario Kart because my dreadful grandparents insisted on watching this trash.

It was always crap but more interesting than most of the crap on TV as I grew up so I watched it when it was on but never religiously. The banter between the captains always seemed so forced. It has no real place in todays pluralistic society.

…..got tickets once so we took the kids when they were young. John Parrot was one of the captains. Got in first with prime seats behind Sue Barker but just before the show started my son had to move because he had an Everton shirt on.

My son and I went around the other side of the studio whilst Mrs Eggs and our daughter hogged the Sue Barker shots.
