I was there and it was a disgrace. Portsmouth won it that year beating Cardiff.
Hubris. Schadenfreude. And whatever else - I feel a bit sorry for our neighbours. I dislike them greatly but they have more of a say than toerag sides like Newcastle and golden-minute-FA-suck-ups West Ham. Once we were taken over with a host of promises and a guarantee of the return of the glory times - we almost went under and have fought back from 10 brinks too many to get to where we stand now. Dont be like them and gloat when the shoe is firmly on the other foot - simply be above it and above their previous behaviour. Everton - the original and most knowledgable team and support that founded this sport and this league. Onward to the last 8 please.
