Ha ha. I remember making a similar promise to myslef 15 years ago and spent most of the year off my face, hungover and waking up in strange places. Well done and enjoy.

I'm nervous as i'm a teacher and want my pupils to get good GCSE results. Problem is that half of them didn't give a toss so cant see our results being great. Teach in an area where there are grammer schools so the top 30% of pupils are taken to the grammer schools, making my job even harder. Oh well, wait and see.

Physics is like the hardest AS you couldve picked!! My mates all hated it just because of the amount of work haha

I had to choose between that and Philosphy and chose physics because my other 3 subjects (history, politics and English language) all inolved essay writing and coursework. I knew I'd failed as soon as the exam finished.

As for the others I got a C in English (getting it remarked), B in politics and A's in history and general studies.

Theyre great :) I ended up with an E in my general studies, mostly because i forgot about the exam, slept in, and only did part of the exam, ahwell hehe

General Studies exams were great fun. One of my papers asked me a question vaguely related to sport and I managed to slip this in: "world class football players such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Tony Hibbert...." Can't believe that was two years ago now, happy memories!

Good luck/congrats to everyone who had their results today (y)

use a comma if resitting, you'll get a B.

Thank fck that's over. I can't stand results day, an overly stressful day for a piece of paper with several letters written on it, it's stupid really.
I got the results I needed thankfully, so this time next month I should be preparing to go and study Physics at the University of Sheffield. Has anyone had an A* yet?
