A huge thanks to everyone who voted. Bartek ended up coming fourth - not bad in an original field of 585. Not only that, he actually got an unexpected 10,000 Zl prize (roughly £2,000 or $3,000 in proper money) and a lot of positive exposure in the Polish film world. You really are all gents.

To be perfectly honest, I did it as a favour and for a lift into Krakow but he's since insisted that I get 5% so I'm now £100 better off (or, will be when my visiting MiL delivers the readies nest month!). Splendid.
