i still stand by my judgement that man city and spurs (any team thats trys to buy success in 1 season ) will fall flat on there faces.
its ok when the going is good , but once they lose a few matches im sure they will find it hard to cope with the dip in moral.
one thing everton have had (i hope we still do ) is bouncebackability.
if we take a bad loss we have usually come back fighting.
this comes from long term team building and learning from situations as a unit.
spurs and city will need a few solid seasons to get to our level in that respect.
Bouncebackability

We have had problems dealing with defeat all to often ourselves.
Europe in particular has caused our heads to go down in dramatic style over the years, and twice cost us a top 4 place. We haven't played well since losing the final either.
City have a huge squad, and can afford to mix and match.
They're not playing as good as they are capable of, but that is expected with a new team.
They will click soon though, and are still playing very good football.
Arsenal were crap, but take nothing from City in what was a very good test for them.
If they beat United next game, then they are going to take some stopping, such will be the confidence it produces. If they get beat, then it will be quite interesting to see how they cope.
In either case, I would like to see the top 4 broken by 2 teams, regardless of who they are.
