All those who travel south to sing the praises of our warrior heroes carry all my hopes with them – do us all proud boys and girls.
Let’s all hope that, years from now, the names we know so well will be spoken of in hushed tones – Gosling with his dancing feet, the graceful Rodwell, Neville the fulcrum at the centre, Pienaar with wings on his heels.

To them, I say, go! Play with skill and passion. Play for the shirt – as only Everton players can.
